Le Directeur Général du studio Afrika Toon, M. Abel Kouamé, animera le vendredi 24 Septembre 2021, une conférence dans le cadre de l’African Creative Meeting, un évènement porté sur les talents et initiatives des industries créatives africaines.
La conférence qui débutera sous le coup de 08h30 GMT, s’articulera autour du thème : « État des lieux et histoire de l’animation en Afrique ».
M. Abel Kouamé y interviendra en compagnie de M. Mbuotidem Johnson, fondateur et directeur artistique du studio nigérian, Basement Animation.
L’African Creative Meeting qui se tiendra du 23 au 24 Septembre prochain, est un évènement digital organisé par l’agence Lenno dans le cadre du programme « saison Africa2020 » mis en œuvre par l’Institut Français.
Il est consacré aux industries créatives telles que, l’animation, le jeu vidéo, l’e-sport les arts graphiques, etc, et se propose de promouvoir, d’accompagner et de favoriser les relations entre les créateurs africains et les différents publics à travers :
- 2 jours d’évènement
- 115 porteurs de projets africains
- Plus de 30 entités européennes en recherche de partenariat avec des structures africaines
- 2 jours de prises de parole, de keynotes, d’ateliers…
- Une mise à disposition d’espaces pour des temps de rencontres professionnelles privées.

The Managing Director of Afrika Toon studio, Mr. Abel Kouamé, will host a conference on Friday, September 24, 2021, as part of the African Creative Meeting, an event focused on the talents and initiatives of African creative industries.
The conference, which will begin at 08 :30 AM GMT, will focus on the theme: « State of play and history of animation in Africa ».
Mr. Abel Kouamé will speak with Mr. Mbuotidem Johnson, founder and creative director of the Nigerian studio, Basement Animation.
The African Creative Meeting, which will be held from September 23 to 24, is a digital event organized by the Lenno agency as part of the program « Africa2020 season » implemented by the French Institute.
It is dedicated to creative industries such as animation, video games, e-sports, graphic arts, etc., and aims to promote, support and foster relationships between African creators and different audiences through
