Corus Entertainment à travers son programme Nelvana et Kids Can Press, éditeur de livres pour enfants, primé et mondialement reconnu, ont annoncés la création du « Black Write Edition », une nouvelle édition de l’incubateur de talent, Nelvana/Kids Can Press.
L’initiative vise à révéler, soutenir et encadrer les nouveaux talents noirs en matière de storytelling et d’illustration.
Les candidats sélectionnés pour ce programme seront mis sous tutelle de conseillers en création dans le domaine de l’animation ou de l’édition de livres afin de les aider à développer et à réaliser pleinement leurs œuvres.
Les talents noirs de l’écriture et de l’illustration sont donc invités à soumettre leurs propositions d’histoires ou leur portfolio d’illustrations sur le site blackwrite.ca avant le 30 novembre 2021, date limite de soumission.

Corus Entertainment through its Nelvana programme and Kids Can Press, an award-winning and globally recognised children’s book publisher, have announced the creation of the « Black Write Edition », a new edition of the talent incubator, Nelvana/Kids Can Press.
The initiative aims to reveal, support and mentor emerging black storytelling and illustration talent.
Candidates selected for the programme will be mentored by creative advisors in the field of animation or book publishing to help them develop and fully realise their work.
Black talent in writing and illustration are invited to submit their story proposals or illustration portfolios to blackwrite.ca before November 30th, 2021 submission deadline.
